EQPlot for GT-3/GT-5/GT-6

Partheus EQ Plot for GT-3, GT-5 and GT-6 allows you to see and hear the effect of changing EQ parameters. On-screen are knobs for all the EQ and Sub-EQ parameters and a graphical plot of the EQ, Sub-EQ and overall frequency responses.

Main features

	supports GT-3, GT-5 and GT-6

	"Edit with GT-3/GT-5/GT-6" function - use the CTL/C pedal and "volume" pedal of the GT-3/GT-5 to edit the on-screen controls; this enables you to carry on playing your guitar whilst adjusting all the EQ parameters - edit, play, listen and look all at the same time

	compare frequency plot with how it was before you made changes (view original)

	view EQ, SEQ and combined frequency plots

	take measurements from the graph by clicking on it

	define a virtually unlimited number of presets stored on the PC

Please note: in GT-5 mode, the EQ and SEQ on/off buttons do not update the LEDs in the effect switches on your GT-5. Roland has confirmed this is the normal behaviour of the GT-5; the EQ and MOD(SEQ) effects are in fact being controlled properly by EQplot, this is not an error in EQplot.

OS compatibility Top

EQplot has been designed to run in Windows 95 / 98, and has been thoroughly tested by Partheus Software on systems with those operating systems. A number of users have installed and run our software on other operating systems with varying degrees of success, summarised here:

	WinNT4	not tested by Partheus Software, information from users is that the program works

	Win2000	not tested by Partheus Software, information from users is that the program works with external MIDI interface, but not via soundcards (this would appear to be a Windows 2000 problem, and may only apply to certain installations)

	WinME	not tested by Partheus Software, information from users is that the program works

	WinXP	tested by Partheus Software

	Macintosh	the program will not work - it is not designed for this platform

Additionally, there are various versions of ROM/OS in GT-5 since it has been launched (v1.03 to v1.07). The software has been tested on v1.06 and v1.07.
